Connection Week

The University of Suffolk is celebrating its alumni community through a series of events taking place during Connection Week.

Aimed at engaging with alumni and the wider university community, the week provides an opportunity to access careers advice and support, explore postgraduate study and network with fellow alumni.

Events include daily lunchtime live online sessions covering a variety of subjects including ongoing development, careers support and postgraduate study, an information hub in the Waterfront building foyer hosted by the Alumni Relations and Development team and a Next Steps event looking at how the university offers continued support and career advice.

There are also engagement activities available both on campus and online, including a virtual balloon race and the Suffolk Links initiative which is inviting alumni, students and staff to write a message about what Suffolk means to them to create a link on a paper chain that will be displayed at the end of the week.

Kate Burgess, Alumni Relations and Development Manager at the University of Suffolk said: “We are really thrilled to be holding our second Connection Week.

“It is such an exciting time for us to celebrate our alumni and supporters, showcase what we do, and engage with our university community.

"Not only are we celebrating the success of our alumni and showcasing the ongoing career support available to them, we are also raising awareness of our charitable work and how we are able to support current students through this fundraising."

As part of Connection Week, the University will welcome honorary graduates and supporters to a special event on campus to hear about the latest developments and see the impact that their contributions have made on our students."
