Welcome to the Accommodation Office at UCS
For most of students, comng to UCS will be the first time they have lived away from home. And whilst the thought of freedom is great, they will probably also be feeling nervous and unsure if they are doing the right thing, even if they don’t admit it out loud. All of a sudden there will be many new things to think about, not just their studies, but how to budget and look after their finances, how to operate an unfamiliar washing machine or cooker. And how do they check if the wiring is safe?
Don’t worry! It is only natural to be nervous about taking such a big step and the Accommodation Office is here to help. This section contains lots of useful information to help students decide what sort of accommodation they want, what they can afford and how they can apply for a room.
