University Campus Suffolk at Suffolk New College

Suffolk New College is situated in the Education Quarter of Ipswich. In 2009 the college relocated to a new, state of the art, £70 million building situated on Rope Walk, just to the north of both the previous college site and the main UCS Ipswich waterfront campus.

The centre provides a friendly and welcoming environment in which to learn and excellent facilities including a laboratory fitted with new equipment for concrete testing, tensile analysis and assessing the engineering properties of soil. It also offers convenient access to the UCS waterfront amenities - only a few minutes walk away.

The college runs five Higher Education courses in the area of Construction and the Built Environment, delivered at Suffolk New College as part of the Learning Network of UCS. The three-year part-time Foundation Degree (FdSc) awards can be followed by a two-year part-time progression to a Bachelor degree (BSc) award.

Commencing September 2010, Suffolk New College now also offers the following four routes in the Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme. These qualifications are aimed at both those who wish to learn to teach and those who are already teaching, tutoring or training in community and adult education, work-based provision, further education, offender education and the voluntary sector.

If you would like to apply for one of these courses please visit the applications page| and choose the link for either part-time or full-time study as appropriate.
