Phil Jackson
Phil Jackson has worked in the animation and videogame industry as an artist and writer for more than twenty years. He studied at the Northwich School of Art before joining Cosgrove Hall Productions on the Thames TV series Dangermouse, and Victor and Hugo. Since then he has worked in the media industry for companies including ITV, BBC, Disney, Infogrames and Sony.
Recently Phil was Senior Artist at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. He has also been Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, teaching 2D and 3D digital art, visual narrative and scriptwriting on the BA (Hons) 2D Animation, BA (Hons) Visual Effects and BA (Hons) 3D Games Art courses.
Phil has produced content for games on most platforms including the SNES, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, N64, PC and PSP, as well as the Playstation 1, Playstation 2 and the Playstation 3. He has broad professional experience covering most aspects of animation and videogame production and continues to maintain links with the industry. Recent projects include scripting five episode of the BBC series Wibbly Pig, which is currently being broadcast on the children's channel, Cbeebies.
