Supporting Students in Practice

Welcome to the practice placement support Web Pages.

University Campus Suffolk is active in the provision of courses leading to professional qualification in Nursing, Midwifery, Operating Department Practice, Radiography and Social Work. We also offer an expanding range of Foundation degrees (FdA) for staff working in the health and social care sector.

These web-pages are designed to help and inform those members of the extended family of the University who support, guide, teach and assess students taking these courses as they engage in the practice elements of their studies.

The pages are maintained with the support of academic staff and of our placement provider partners across East Anglia. They contain information about students in practice and related issues for placement providers. While every effort is made to keep information up to date users of these pages must recognise that the demands of both service providers and the University may force operational change at short notice.

Enquiries and observations concerning the structure and content choices of these pages should be referred to Geoff Scott, Placements Manager, School of Nursing, Midwifery and Interprofessional Studies, UCS, Neptune Quay, Ipswich IP4 1QJ geoffrey.scottucs.ac.uk| .

To navigate to your areas of interest on these pages use the links in the lower part of the right hand margin. The navigation bars at the top of the right hand margin will take you to pages in other areas of our site.
