Originating from Edinburgh, I studied for a degree in Zoology at the University of Aberdeen. Before moving to Suffolk, I previously worked at Edinburgh Zoo and Cricket St. Thomas Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire. I have worked at the Otley Centre for the last 7 years teaching Animal Science.

As part of the course I lead a group to South Africa to study wildlife management and conservation techniques. The course has also taken students on a trip to Holland to study zoo design and management.

My research interests include conservation and management of exotic and zoo species.
