Karen Hinton
Student Recruitment and Marketing Manager
Karen graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2003 with a degree in Sociology. She worked for the University of Edinburgh as Schools Outreach Officer for over six years before joining UCS in February 2010. Karen's role is to develop UCS recruitment strategies in the UK and EU, and to manage schools liaison and student recruitment activity. Karen attends recruitment events in the UK and Europe, and works closely with colleagues across UCS and the Learning Network.

Katie Proctor
Student Recruitment and Widening Participation Officer
Katie graduated from the University of Essex in 2004 with a degree in History and Sociology. She worked for the University of Essex as Student Recruitment Assistant before joining UCS in July 2006. Katie’s role involves giving presentations to students and parents, attending higher education recruitment events, organising summer schools, and working with students in Years 9-13 on various Aimhigher activities.

Liam Stott
Student Recruitment and Marketing Assistant
Liam graduated with a degree in English and Film and Media from UCS in 2009. Throughout his degree he was a volunteer for the UCS New Media Team, employed by UCS as a Student Ambassador and Aimhigher Suffolk as a Mentor.
Liam joined the UCS Marketing team in August 2009. His role involves giving presentations to students in schools and at open days, organising Taster sessions, running campus tours, and representing UCS at higher education recruitment events across the country.
