The Student Recruitment team visit schools, colleges and businesses across the East of England to discuss various issues in Higher Education. We provide presentations on a wide range of subjects and would be pleased to adapt them to your specific requirements.

How to choose a university/How to choose a course: advice and guidance on researching universities, research tools and techniques, and open day advice. Particularly suitable for students in year 12

How to fill in a UCAS form and write a good personal statement: takes a look at the UCAS application process, what admissions tutors look for, advice on writing a personal statement, and past examples. Particularly suitable for students in year 12 or start of year 13

Student life: covers living away from home/studying in the local area, student workloads, social life/students union, what to expect when you arrive. Particularly suitable for students in years 12 and 13

Student finance: covers tuition fees, financial support available to students and budgeting tips. Particularly suitable for students in years 12 and 13 and/or parents

Making a late application: advice and guidance for those students that miss the UCAS January application deadline

Preparing for the HE Convention: gives advice on what students should expect from the HE Convention and how to make the most of their time there. Particularly suitable for students in year 12
