The ‘Digital Opportunities’ conference is bringing together eminent business professionals in a one-off conference which will help turn your business around. This high profile corporate event will be providing an opportunity for SME businesses to start the new decade with new technology. ‘Digital Opportunities’ is aimed at small and medium sized enterprises within Suffolk with an aim of raising awareness of the advantages and opportunities of digital technology.
To be held at Suffolk’s only purpose built meeting and event centre, Trinity Park, on Tuesday 26th January 2010 between 9am and 2pm, the ‘Digital Opportunities’ conference will explain the term digital communication, why it is important, what funding is available and will include case studies of SME’s that have used it successfully.
This event is being organised by the final year BA Event Management students and they have been given the opportunity to collaborate with Trinity Park, UCS, White Space Design and Business Link, through support and sponsorship. Neil Prentice from White Space Design said “Digital communication has opened up a range of new marketing channels and many exciting opportunities for businesses now exist. Hopefully this event will help to make some sense of what these opportunities are and how your business can benefit from them.”
The UCS students are delighted to announce that Phil Dance, MD of BT Adastral Park, has agreed to be the keynote speaker of this conference. Professor David Hall, one of Europe’s leading facilitators in innovation and entrepreneurship, author of 3 top selling business books and presenter and writer of the BAFTA award winning BBC1 business series ‘Winning’ will also be speaking at the event after recently receiving an Honorary Doctorate from University Campus Suffolk.
