Suffolk Business School look forward to welcoming Chartered Management Institute to Waterfront Building on Tuesday 7 October

UCS Suffolk Business School is gearing up to welcome a number of local business leaders to its newly opened Waterfront building on Tuesday 7 October. The event, hosted by UCS, working in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute will offer the Suffolk business community the opportunity to listen to an engaging and informative talk by the distinguished the Rt Hon Alexander Macmillan the Earl of Stockton. Lord Stockton is currently the President and Chairman of Macmillan Publishing Ltd, Member of the House of Lords, former MEP, journalist and correspondent to the National Broadsheets, Gentleman farmer, gourmet and wine connoisseur.
Lord Stockton will talk about his time and experience as a journalist and correspondent, as the head of one of the world’s best known publishing companies, and as a Member of the European Parliament. He will reflect on his experiences of and the challenges of management. He will also give an insight into some of the extraordinary meetings and dealings in his career with some of the famous names of the late 20th century.
