Sep 25 2007 12:00AM
The evening of Tuesday 18 September was a landmark in the development of the CDI at University Campus Suffolk. The students who will be working towards the Postgraduate Certificate in Design Context and Practice were welcomed for the induction evening as the first group of students to the CDI.
Dr Mike Doherty, Head of the CDI, said “We look forward to returning to validation in the spring of 2008, bringing on line the remaining components to make up the full Masters programme, on offer from September 2008. We in the CDI anticipate an exciting year in the development of innovative approaches to problem solving through integrated new media.”
There will be an opportunity for the public to see some examples of the work generated by the CDI at the official launch taking place at the Christchurch Park Education Centre in November, the date will be confirmed shortly. This is an imposing building carrying impressive eco-credentials without compromising elegance of style.
Dr Doherty went onto say, “We would like to thank our partners Ipswich Borough Council for allowing the CDI to be the very first group to exhibit within this exciting new environment.”
