University Campus Suffolk School of Arts and Humanities, Lecture Series: The 2nd Suffolk battalion at the battle of Le Cateau August 26th 1914

The lecture will focus on the role of the Suffolks at Le Cateau and the wider significance of the Battle.  It will also highlight why the strategies adopted by British commanders at Le Cateau were the source of so much contemporary controversy.  Antony is Co-editor of the Voices From The Front Line (2006) and author of Gentlemen, We will Stand and Fight: Le Cateau 1014 (2008)

The lectures series are primarily for UCS staff and undergraduates but we would also like to extend an invitation to friends who wish to join us at these events.

Admission is free and will be held on Wednesday 28 April 2010 (2-3pm) in Lecture Theatre W009 at the Waterfront building, Ipswich Campus.
