UCS Doctoral Studentships 2012

University Campus Suffolk (UCS) is providing doctoral students the opportunity to join our research community by offering a number of studentships for commencement in 2012. Our doctoral degrees are awarded by either the University of East Anglia or the University of Essex according to subject cognacy. Our researchers benefit from the research strengths and expertise of supervisory teams based both here at the UCS waterfront campus and at either the University of Essex or the University of East Anglia.

Research Themes

Applications are invited from candidates wishing to conduct research in any of the following areas:

Biomedical Science

Business

Health Services Research

Leadership & Enterprise

Management

Regenerative Medicine

Social Science

Proposals to undertake interdisciplinary research in these areas are also welcomed.

Eligibility

The studentships are available to only UK and EU students  for full or part time study due to funding restrictions. Applicants should normally have a Masters degree and must have a first or upper second class degree from a UK university or the overseas equivalent. We are looking for outstanding and committed individuals with the determination to succeed. Applications will be assessed on the basis of their potential, the quality of the research proposal and consistency with our current areas of research expertise and research priorities.
