Following the recent restructuring of University Campus Suffolk (UCS), we seek applications for this key leadership role. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of School to provide inspirational leadership in teaching and learning, research and enterprise. For appropriate individuals, the appointment may be at professorial level.
UCS is one of the UK’s newest and most exciting higher education institutions, having launched in 2007 in collaboration with the Universities of East Anglia and Essex. UCS provides students and staff a friendly, can-do and ambitious context. Working with partners, UCS is focused on making a high impact at local, national and international level. This post is based in Ipswich with its stunning waterside campus.
The Head of Division of Social Work and Social Policy will join a School that is growing in reputation locally, regionally and beyond, delivering high quality academic provision and with a developing research profile.
The successful candidate will be highly credible in their subject area and have a track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning, managing people, and delivering funded research. Candidates should ideally meet our criteria for professorial appointments or be likely to do so in the near future.
