Year 7, 8 and 9 Family Awareness Day
This free event is aimed at students in Year 8 and their parents. The students take part in a carousel of interactive activities based around understanding higher education and why people go, while the parents listen in on a talk about student finance and the benefits of HE. Both students and parents then come together for lunch and a campus tour.
(Booking forms for this event will be sent out to all eligible Suffolk schools and academies in March 2013)
02 - 05 July 2013
Year 12 Summer School
This event is a four day, fully funded residential summer school. Students take part in a variety of university style subject tasters, a university project and a number of social activities. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about higher education and becoming independent.
Parenst are also invited on the final day to find out what the students have been doing.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and transport are all provided free to charge.
