E-Resources

UCS Libraries provides a range of databases available to students and staff across all Learning Centres. We constantly review our subscriptions to ensure we are using the best products to support our courses, and are happy to receive suggestions for products and arrange trials. To discuss requirements you can contact our E-resources Librarian Abigail Barker|

All of the UCS e-Resources are catalogued in the UCS Ipswich Library catalogue.  The resources can be accessed through the search facility or through the databases reading list on the catalogue search homepage.

The subject guides in the study support area give details of which databases are most relevant to each study area, and the Subject Liaison Librarians for those areas are able to provide hands on training for individuals, small or large groups for each database.

Access to UEA resources

Staff and students across UCS also have access to a range of databases through an agreement with UEA library.  These are also available in the UCS Ipswich Library catalogue.
