Alternatively, students may apply for accommodation in Ipswich and commute to Lowestoft on the days they need to attend lectures. Ipswich is approximately just over an hour by car to Lowestoft or 1 hour 20 – 1 hour 50 minutes by train.
Please bear in mind the additional journey times and travel costs you will incur if you decide to live in Ipswich and commute to Lowestoft. UCS is unable to assist you with additional transport costs you incur by choosing to live in a different town to your campus.
