THE PfM COURSE AT UCS
The Preparation for Mentorship (PfM) course is available at UCS as a 'stand alone' module or as a module of the honours level post-registration programme. It can be taken as part of studies for a practice based degree, where it will contribute 20 level six credits.
The module is delivered over 15 weeks and comprises 6 full study days, required private study and practice based work with learners in the clinical environment, together totalling 200 hours.
Assessment is by completion of a workbook and a written assignment relating to the teaching and assesment of learners in the practice environment.
For futher details contact the Course Leader, Rachel Heathershaw, or the Academic Services Office at UCS.
