Link Lecturer Teams
As a service to areas providing practice experience to our students, teams of link lecturers will be available to offer educational support. These teams are based on Acute services in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Great Yarmouth, Community Services in the East, West and North of our area, Children's Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Midwifery Services.
At the 1st June 2010, the teams are:
Ipswich Acute Services: Helen Hollinworth, Soo Wapling (Team co-ordinators) - Jenny Braithwaite, Charlie Whiffin, Alison Hasselder, Rowena Harland, Karen Lewis, Julie McLeod, Sara Oxbury-Ellis, Mark Ranson, Catherine Theodosius and Kirsty Kirk.
Bury St Edmunds Acute Services: Paul Driscoll (Team co-ordinator) - Wendi Braithwaite, Heather Macloughlin, Jean Mullin, Mary Carter, Amy Bailey, Lee Cunnell and Dawn Parsons.
Great Yarmouth Acute Services: Harry Waterman (Team co-ordinator) - Anne Hyatt-King and Valerie Waterman
Community Services (East): Sue Blainey, Sarah Fogarty, Tim Goodchild, Sue Pettit, Lois Seddon, Elaine Vincent, Jan Mitcheson and Christine Gordon.
Community Services (West): Jo Walsh, Rachel Heathershaw and Linda Johnson.
Community Services (North): Nickey Rooke, Michael Kelleher and Gareth Partington.
Childrens Nursing: Karen Hayward, Caroline Davison and Sarah Todd.
Mental Health Nursing: Rick Ellis, Pras Ramluggen, Heather Rugg, Lois Hickey and Brian Pereira.
Midwifery: Fiona Judge, Heather Passmore, Sam Chenery-Morris, Elaine Jones, Haz Hughes and Jill Lawrence.

Each area providing practice experience for students of Nursing and Midwifery will also have an identified personal link lecturer. Notices have been sent to all placment provider areas giving the name and contact details of their personal link lecturers and the supporting team.
