Visiting Course Patrons and Alumni
The BA (Hons) Graphic Design course is proud to have the support of leading industry patrons from across a wide spectrum of the creative industries. These patrons engage with the course to give lectures, share their industry knowledge, set creative projects and help to shape the curriculum.
Brian Grimwood is a Senior Fellow of the course and is famed for ‘changing the face of British Illustration’ (Print Magazine).
Jonathan Barnbrook is a typographer and graphic designer who has worked with many high profile clients including Damian Hirst, David Bowie and Adbusters magazine.
Daryl Goodrich is a successful film director who, among many other things, made the film that helped win the 2012 Olympic bid for the United Kingdom.
TCM, (Turner Classic Movies), run a unique internship scheme for final year students who successfully answer a brief set by their creative team.
The course is equally proud of its alumni, many of whom are happy to come back to talk to current students about their industry practice. Recently, both Clare Parker and Sarah Edwards, who now work at the National Theatre and British Museum respectively, have visited final year students to discuss life after graduation.
