The School of Arts and Humanities is committed to building relationships with the local community, organisations, employers and education. We aim to actively engage with our partners through partnership projects, internships, exhibitions, community activities and our lecture series.
The school is dedicated to delivering the UCS vision which states
"We will act as a transformational presence, deeply embedded, highly visible and engaged with our local communities and driving real measurable change through our cultural, economic and social activity in the region." UCS Academic Strategy 2010.
Through engagement we will enhance the students experience by providing opportunities that inspire creative development. Our aim is to work with employers, organisations and individuals to provide all students with the chance to expand their skills by developing a diverse programme of opportunities that support learning and career development.
