Photographs featuring portraits from 2 years residence at the Maverick Festival. Plus unseen images of Johnny Cash and June Carter.

7th Sept - 24th Sept, Gill Thomas, Paintings and Drawings 1950 - 2010

The Waterfront gallery reopens in its new location on the waterfront side of the Waterfront building with an exhibition of Gill Thomas's paintings and drawings.

 

4th Oct – 18th Oct, Wendy Brooke-Smith - Paintings

A collection of urban and coastal images exploring contrast and incongruity, activity and neglect, and the legacy of man-made structures in the natural landscape.

 

23rd Oct – 3rd Nov, Thenetwerk

Thenetwerk award celebrates the work of graduates who have embraced and integrated theory and practice in their work.

 

6th Nov - 25th Nov, SOLO 2010, Nayan Kulkarni, The Impossibility of Flight.

Solo is a new initiative which offers a solo exhibition to an emerging artist. From an open application of over 70 artists drawn from across the UK, we are delighted and excited to have selected Nayan Kulkarni.

 

2nd Dec - 17th Dec, Russell Walker: Friends and Acquaintances

A retrospective exhibition that chronicles 35 years of illustration and character design for either commercial or promotional purpose. Including works for national and international media.

The show establishes links between literature and the imaginative invention of both the Superhero and the Femme Fatale.
