Academic Support

Academic Support is located at the Ipswich Campus and supports students and academic members of staff across the five schools.

The Assessment Office is the hand in and collection point for all student work for students at UCS Ipswich.

The Assessment Office is located in W127 and is open from:

Monday to Thursday

08:30 – 14:00 and 15:30 – 17:00

Friday

08:30 – 14:00 and 15:30 – 16:45   

When the office is closed work can be submitted via the Infozone| or at the main Waterfront reception desk.

Health students are reminded that there is a red post box located outside the Infozone and timesheets and travel claims should be posted in there.

Arts and Humanities students can continue to submit work via the school office - R203 in the Arts Building. There are also hand-in facilities at West Suffolk Hospital and at the Drake Centre. 

Academic Support

  • Supports students and academic staff at UCS Ipswich in all administrative aspects of their studies and programmes


  • Manages the processes of enrolment and student monitoring and co-ordinates induction

  • Manages assessment processes for students at UCS Ipswich and some programmes across the network

  • Focuses on improving the student experience to help UCS attract and retain students
