Charles Wilby is the Senior Business Development Manager for UCS. His role is to lead the operational development and effectiveness of the business development activity of the University.
A graduate of the University of Oxford (Keble) and Leeds University, Charles holds a research degree in Engineering Science and diplomas in Marketing and Finance. He has spearheaded the successful commercialisation and internationalisation of several high technology spin off companies from Cambridge and other Universities.
His background is in ITC applied to the construction, engineering, aerospace automotive, process and transport industries. As the business development director of high tech companies he has spent 25 years winning international business contracts and setting up and managing companies around the world.
