Scholarships for international students
UCS offers a £500 early payment scholarship to all full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students per year, if they have paid their fee in full by 30 September.
Please note that any international students accepted on to a course that requires a practice placement with a Primary Care Trust, for example Nursing, Midwifery or Radiography, will incur an additional £3000 fee per each year of study (this excludes all British Islands students except the Falkland Islands).
Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarships programme. They support students from over 110 different countries to study in the UK, mostly on one year Masters programmes. Scholarships are offered to students with the potential to become future leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers.
Application information, entry requirements, and further information are available on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office webpages.
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom (CSC) offers around 700 awards annually, mostly for students from developing countries to study in the UK. Awards are funded by the UK government in conjunction with UK Universities.
Scholarships are offered for postgraduate study at UCS, with some undergraduate opportunities also available. Applications must be made through your country’s nominating agency and not directly to the University or CSC. To find out if you are eligible you should visit the CSC website.
