Rationale
This module will focus on the ways in which sociologists have attempted to explain and understand gendered social experiences. It will offer a comprehensive theoretical overview of gender theory. The focus will shift to address cultural representations of gender. The module will also challenge the binary distinction of gender construction and explore the myriad of alternative positions.
