Practice In Context

Level: 2

Credit Points: 40

In this module students produce work targeted at specific audiences. The module is split into two.

One part requires the students to produce work for the art market and focuses on taking risks. For this part of the module students are required to step out of their comfort zone and take a 'risk' i.e. produce work in new ways.

The other part of this module asks the students to produce work of a commercial nature and focuses on working in collaboration. For 6 weeks the students will collaborate with each other, one or more BA (Hons) Graphic Design students or an outside agency to make work of a commercial nature to a set brief, that can either be a competition brief, a real brief or a brief set by tutors.
