Final Major Project

Credit Points: 40

This module will allow students to develop, define and undertake a final major project. The methodology for this process has been defined at level 1 and 2. The work undertaken in the previous module Theme will form the basis for further investigation. Students will develop an in-depth proposal that will guide them through the production of their FMP.

Based upon the feedback given for the Theme presentation and the critical review, students will develop an in depth proposal. They will develop a major body of work adhering to a working methodology instilled during the last two years. They are expected to continuously research both academically and practically, contextualise, critique and reflect upon the work they are producing.

The scope of the project is decided in consultation with the module tutor and the topic needs to be related, connected or come out of themes covered on the programme. The FMP will be developed in conjunction with the Critical Context module that runs concurrently.
