Dissertation

Credit Points: 40

This module builds upon the theoretical and practical foundations set in level 1 and 2. Heavily grounded in research and investigation, this module requires the students to place their own work within a contemporary context culminating in a written ‘contextual dissertation’. The development of this module is closely integrated with students ‘Final Major Project’ that runs concurrently.

At the heart of the module is the development of the contextual dissertation that demands that students clearly place their work in a contemporary context after they have researched and investigated in depth. This builds both on knowledge and understanding acquired and on a continuous advancement of academic writing skills over the previous two years.
