"With a crit, usually it’s a group crit. Everyone puts their work up together. You have a look at each others work and then go along the work and you talk about it. The pros and cons of each piece and how it could be better and how it is good. It’s quite good, because you’re getting everyones ideas and reactions to it, rather than just getting criticisms from the tutor. It’s also quite nice to bounce ideas of each other, because everyones work is different, but they might follow a familiar theme."
