Rationale:
Events cover a range of activities and categories and are an important component of the Hospitality and Leisure sectors. Event management requires particular skills and knowledge reflected in the module, which offers practical content. This module builds on the practice and theory modules at Levels 5 and 4; and gives students the opportunity to continue their work based learning by working as an event project team for a client relevant to their particular sector.
