UCS Excellence Bursary

UCS is introducing a new bursary scheme for students starting their degree in the 2014/15 academic year, who achieve ABB in A Level or equivalent level 3 qualifications.

Successful applicants will receive a £500 bursary in each of their three years of study at UCS (dependent on successful progression and still meeting the eligibility criteria)

To be eligible for a UCS Excellence Bursary, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • A new student to UCS in 2014/15
  • Achieve ABB in A Level; or 320 UCAS points at level 3; or 30 level 3 credits at Distinction in an Access course.(Please contact UCS Admissions to check equivalents in other qualifications)
  • Achieve the required grades/UCAS points in one academic sitting
  • In the first year of your course
  • Studying full time towards a Foundation or Bachelor degree
  • Paying tuition fees of £7,500 (Foundation degree) or £8,500 (Bachelor degree)
  • In receipt of part or all of the maintenance/special support grant (students with a household income of up to £42,620) from Student Finance England
  • Living in the UK
  • Must have applied for and been awarded the UCS Bursary 2014 Entry

Students who start at UCS in 2014/15 and who are awarded the UCS Bursary 2014 entry, will be automatically assessed for eligibility for the Excellence Bursary. An application form for the UCS Bursary 2014 Entry is available on the Applicant Portal and the closing date for applications is:

September 2014 starters - 1st December 2014

January/February 2015 starters - 1st May 2015
