This study day is targeted at those working in a wide range of clinical settings that have an interest in sexual or reproductive health and wish to explore perceptions and impact of risk-taking behaviour amongst young people

 

Aims:

 

To explore current epidemiology related to sexual health and

the young person

To examine perceptions of risk taking related to sexual health

To develop a critical appraisal of current service provision

 

Outcomes:

 By the end of this study day attendees will be informed of  

current statistical data related to the prevalence and incidence

of sexual transmitted infections amongst young people

Attendees will also have developed an appreciation of factors  

that impact risk perception and have engaged in a critical

analysis of existing and optimum service provision
