This study day is targeted at those working in a wide range of clinical settings that have an interest in sexual or reproductive health and wish to explore perceptions and impact of risk-taking behaviour amongst young people
Aims: To explore current epidemiology . To examine perceptions of risk taking
related to sexual health . To develop a critical appraisal of current service provision
Outcomes: By the end of this study day attendees will be informed of current statistical
data related to the prevalence and incidence of sexual transmitted
infections . Attendees will also have developed an appreciation of factors
that impact risk perception and have engaged in a critical analysis of existing
and optimum service provision
