CPD, School Based and School Partnership Delivery

CPD at UCS gives educational practitioners the opportunity to identify, achieve and manage their own learning, growth and career objectives. Educational practitioners can update their teaching and learning skills, extend their educational knowledge, improve their theoretical understanding and undertake research within their own practice.

One key feature of CPD at UCS is that educational practitioners are able to gain credits for a Masters postgraduate qualification alongside their CPD studies.

Theory, practice and reflection are the three components that underpin all CPD modules encouraging educational practitioners to use their own experience and apply their CPD studies directly to their practice thereby allowing them to explore best practice and innovatory approaches in teaching and learning with the support of tutors and other learners on the programme.

The flexible programme of study at UCS allows educators a realist and achievable route to Masters level study which is viewed by many as being essential for career advancement in teaching and related careers.

Practitioners can choose from a selection of modules which normally run over the course of one term (subject to change).
