MSc Advanced Health Care Practice (with Pathways in Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Allied Health Professionals)

Overview

The MSc Advanced Healthcare Practice is a programme which enables experienced nurses to gain the skills and knowledge required to work successfully within the advanced practice arena both in the acute and primary care settings. This course is accredited by the RCN and those successfully completing the course will develop the competencies required by the RCN and the NMC.

This course is also open to Allied Health professionals who are working within an advanced role or who wish to progress to an advanced role. This course will be of interest to ODPs, paramedics, pharmacists, physiotherapists and any other AHP working at an advanced level.

Course Structure

Students must achieve 180 credits at Level 7 in order to complete the MSc Advanced Healthcare Practice programme. These academic credits must be achieved through completion of appropriate modules. Within this programme, ALL modules are mandatory. From the time of initial registration students have a maximum of 5 years to complete the course.  Students are strongly advised to seek academic advice prior to enrolling on a course.
