The UCS Community Grant Scheme invites local groups and individuals to bid for small pots of money between £50 - £250 to support local events or activities that benefit members of the community in Suffolk and Great Yarmouth.
Grants are awarded based on the following criteria (this list is not exclusive):

Supporting local community events

Supporting the operation of community/charity groups

Support of clubs – with an educational nature

Sports facilities or activities

Special equipment for community groups, schools and colleges

Grants for student activities (community engagement or extra curricular activities)

Promotion of the Arts

Adult education
The Scheme was introduced in 2010 and in 2012 was extended to welcome applications twice a year.

The Community Grant Scheme is now closed for applications. Details of the successful applicants will be available at the end of February.
