Converging our community and business engagement activity is key to our mission to be a model for a new type of civic university. The Directorate of Research and Enterprise is primarily involved with business and public sector engagement, forming collaborative projects with other civic organisations offering consultancy services, applied research, joint working opportunities and programmes of business-focused training.
The Directorate consists of three areas;
UCS Careers Service and Business
The UCS Careers Service, working with the Business Development and Enterprise team offer a range of initiatives to promote communication and networking between business and students.
UCS Graduates
The UCS Careers and Employability Service are committed to supporting the needs of business and the future employability of UCS students. We offer a range of initiatives where businesses can network with talented, enthusiastic individuals and have a direct impact on shaping their future workforce.
