Three graduates, who met during their course at UCS, have taken their future careers into their own hands by setting up their own Graphic Design business.
After completing their respective degrees this year, Daniel Welsh, James Tye and Sean Cooper took it upon themselves to start Three&me|- a graphic design studio based in the recently opened Atrium Studios| at UCS Ipswich.
Daniel Welsh and James Tye received their awards during today’s graduation ceremonies where they received a First and 2:1 in BA (Hons) Graphic Design| respectively. Sean Cooper is set to receive his degree at a later date.
Daniel, who also won the Graham Scott Typography Award in recognition of the best typography work by a student, told us: “After meeting on our course we decided that we wanted to start a company of our own. We are now a fully registered company and have begun working with clients and building on our contacts further.”
The group of students have been based at the Atrium Studios for around a month and Daniel described the studios as the perfect place for them to run their business from.
“We were made aware of the Atrium Studios through our course and when we went to see it we knew it was the perfect place for us. As recent graduates and founders of a new business, the studios provide us with brilliant, simple and affordable space in which we can grow the business."
