John Peters is a Director of GSE Research Ltd, based in Leeds, England, providing advisory and information resources in governance, sustainability and environment.
He holds a visiting post at the University Campus Suffolk.
From 1999 to 2010 John was Publishing Director, then CEO of Emerald Group Publishing in the UK and President of Emerald Publishing Inc., based in Massachusetts, USA, leading the company through international expansion, revenue growth and a number of strategic acquisitions. He left Emerald at the end of 2010 to help set up GSE Research.
He edited the journal Management Decision for more than 20 years, co-authored the book ‘Management of a Student Research Project’, and has written and presented widely on business and publishing industry topics.
Previously he worked in consulting and management development in the UK, Canada and Australia. He is a graduate of Manchester University, and holds an MBA from Bradford Business School.
