Robert Price is a Senior Lecturer specialising in organisational change management and leadership. He leads the Executive MBA and associated postgraduate management programmes, and leads a number of modules on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes: Strategic Change Management, Change Management, Leadership and Management, and Business Environment. He contributes to the delivery of the School’s continuing professional development programme and has delivered a number of seminars/workshops on managing organisational change: Suffolk Constabulary, West Suffolk Hospital NHS Trust and Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust.
Research interests include the relevance of motivation theory in relation to changing attitudes within society: individual values set against organisational values and requirements; the meaning of leadership within organisations: misconceptions of leadership and the extent to which organisations are transfixed by the notion of leadership; and organisational politics: managing organisations as pluralist entities.
He is co-author, with David Lee and Philip Newman, of Decision Making in Organisations (FT Pitman).
