Morgan studied Contemporary Dance in his native Hawai'i, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Theatre from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. After graduating, he moved to London to study at The Place (London Contemporary Dance School), where he received his MA in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School as part of Edge, in 2008.
He has since danced with companies including Rosie Kay Dance Company (The Wild Party; Double Points:K), Made by Katie Green (Lost & Found; Matters of Life and Death), and Troika Ranch (loopdiver). This year Morgan is working with Nigel Charnock in his new piece TEN MEN. He has recently been commissioned to choreograph works for the students of the University of Hawai'i at Hilo (Simple Math; Identity), and CAT West Midlands (DP:M).
Over the course of his career he has received numerous accolades, including Scholarship in the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation in Washington, D.C., the Outstanding Partnership of the Year Award from Dance Europe Magazine, as well as various awards and scholarships from organisations in Hawai'i.
