Tariq has worked at UCS as an IT Services Support Manager since November 2007. He established the UCS IT Helpdesk and is responsible for day to day running of it at Ipswich campus and provides support to UCS students and staff including learning networks. Under his management the support team has deployed every PC, IMac’s and audio visual equipment throughout the Ipswich campus. He is responsible for Canon Multifunctional devices (MFD’s). He has also project managed IT delivery for Copyshop and InfoZone and was a key member of the project delivery team for the Waterfront Auditorium.

He is completing his MBA at University Campus Suffolk and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Bachelor of Science degree. He holds an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with the British Engineering Council and Chartered IP Professional (MBCS CITP) with the British computer society for his services to the IT industry.

Prior to joining UCS Tariq has worked at Otley College in the IT department and before that he has worked in the USA at KPMG global Headquarter at Washington DC and Bearing Point international in McLean, Virginia as a telecommunication administrator. He has also worked at US park services and acted as a Deputy Project manager for Mitel PABX’s installation at Veterans Affairs Medical centre (VA) in Washington DC.
