Paul Woolnough has over twelve years’ experience in the IT industry, predominantly working in the local government arena. He specialises in networking and has led on delivering many large network solutions for University Campus Suffolk, Essex County Council as well as some consultancy roles whilst working for BT. Paul tends to be involved in all parts of the project lifecycle from identifying customer requirements, working with customers and colleagues to design suitable solution(s) and managing the delivery/integration of services. Paul has previously managed a team of 13 voice and data engineers at Essex County Council which involved overseeing the implementation of several strategic network projects, day to day operational management, fault escalations and assignment of tasks.
Paul has a challenging role as Network Infrastructure Officer at UCS with responsibilities for all aspects of the network. Paul’s professional accreditations include the Cisco certified network and design professional certifications and is currently studying part time at the University to complete a Foundation degree in Leadership & Management.
