John Herd has worked in several sectors: Internet Service Providers, Publishing, Manufacturing, the NHS and Insurance. His experience ranges from running a pan-European network operation centre, a global publishing network to managing major corporate change and refresh projects spanning call centre replacement, warehouse and supply chain management and data centre migrations.
The breadth and diversity of his experience have brought a different perspective to IT at UCS with a focus on bringing value, flexibility and simplicity to every technical service. Above all, his main interest is in ensuring that strong relationships exist at every level of the organisation to ensure that technical and non-technical interests are represented equally and fairly.
