Iain joined the IT Helpdesk team as a second line IT support technician in 2008 after 5 years working as a first line technician for a private sector company. Since joining the university he has attained an FdSc Network and Communication Technologies through UCS and is currently studying towards a Cisco Certified Network Associate certification.
Iain is responsible for and involved in first and second line IT support, IT support to the remote sites, all IT procurement within the university, minor IT related project work, and basic network support.
