Kay Daines has worked in organisational and employee development for over 15 years in a number of organisations operating in both the public and private sectors. The main focus of her work has been in the areas of management development, change and project management.

Alongside this Kay has taught on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate business and human resource management courses in a variety of higher education institutions. After her first degree in business and finance Kay went on to accrue an MA in Human Resource Management and a Masters degree in Education. Kay holds a PGCE in higher education and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Kay is currently half way through her doctorate where she is undertaking an ethnographic study of how managers construct their professional identities. 

Kay currently works as Corporate Development Manager at UCS where her role involves the identification of training needs and training needs analysis across all staff groups and the development of the corporate and management development programmes
