Robert is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and is UCS’ Procurement and Contracts Manager.
Robert manages UCS’ procurement operations, which includes a range of approved purchasing methods such as the controlled use of purchasing cards, locally negotiated contracts and access to established purchasing frameworks via consortia with other universities. Robert also advises on a broad range of contractual matters relevant to UCS’ income contracts, including intellectual property.
Another important aspect of Robert’s role is advising on UCS’ insurance risks, and putting in place appropriate insurance policies.
