Prior to transferring to UCS, Claire worked in the HE Sector at Suffolk College. Claire initially joined the Registry Team in 2005 and spent brief periods in Student Support and Admissions before joining the Admissions Team on a permanent basis in 2006 progressing to the role of Admissions Manager.
Claire is responsible for the day to day running of the Admissions department and her main focus to continually enhance the applicant experience through the development of procedures and processes and new iniatives. Amongst other projects, Claire is involved in promoting the engagement and development of the Applicant Portal, management of the Clearing operation and supporting the Head of Admissions and Infozone.
Before joining UCS in 2005 Claire gained a BA (Hons) French and Spanish from the University of Leicester, Claire spent the third year of her degree course studying in Salamanca, Spain and Le Mans, France as part of an ERASMUS exchange programme.
