Cath joined UCS in 2008 and is now Head of Academic Support. Cath is responsible for the leadership and management of Academic Support to the Schools at UCS Ipswich including their development, implementation, monitoring and review and for ensuring consistency of service to staff and students. The main areas of Cath’s work include assessment, induction, and other student-related administrative processes, as well as contract monitoring for the delivery of services to the Strategic Health Authority.
Prior to joining UCS, Cath worked as a project manager and performance specialist with the Home Office, and in the Metropolitan Police Service and Hertfordshire Constabulary. Cath graduated from Imperial College, London with a BSc (Hons) in Physics, and whilst working for the Met Police completed an MSc in Operational Research by distance learning, with Sheffield City Polytechnic.
